The perfect fit
Who: Colin, Troop 49, University City, Missouri
What: Colin and his team transformed part of a high school’s charity clothing boutique into a changing room. Inside the new structure, they installed a tension rod and curtain for privacy, a mirror and clothing hooks.


Planting seeds for STEM
Who: Dominic, Troop 234, Oxnard, California
What: Dominic spearheaded a community effort to design and construct an interactive outdoor learning space at a child development center. More than 260 hours went into building custom redwood planter boxes, large framed chalkboards and a bench for the STEM-focused program.


Game, set, match
Who: Jasper, Troop 97, Haslett, Michigan
What: Jasper worked with family, friends and the local high school tennis team to construct a backboard that anyone can use for individual practice. The project included posts, two-by-fours, plywood and paint in the official school colors.

Yes! The Glenn A. and Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award honors outstanding Eagle projects. An Eagle Scout, their parent or guardian, or any registered Scouting volunteer (with the Eagle Scout’s permission) may submit the Eagle Scout service project for consideration.
